Luke 18 | Luke 19 | Luke 20

Jesus' Love for Jerusalem

41 As He approached and saw the city, He wept over it,
42 saying, “If you knew this day what would bring peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.

41 But as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep.
42 “How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eye

41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it
42 and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.

41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
